Against The Odds To Become a Millionaire? Think About These Three Questions First

How can I provide more value to more people with less time?

Last updated: Aug 05, 2025

Every day, my inbox is filled with questions from readers and viewers about how I became a millionaire.
I often surprise them with my answers.

Let me put it this way: it takes about the same amount of effort to make a million dollars a year as it does to make $10,000. However, the difference is not in the effort you put in, but in how you view your work.

Before I learned the secret formula to wealth, I had many job changes. In fact, I remember one of those jobs that made me very unhappy was getting up at 3am every day at a car manufacturing plant and walking dozens of miles back and forth to put things in order. It was not only a menial job; it was also undignified.

The job ended at about 9am and then I had to wearily rush to school to listen to my professor's lecture. It was the kind of endless effort that I despised. Deep down, I knew there had to be a better way to earn money. But, how to do it?

I felt like the gum in a machine that hadn't been sold in years: useless.

But I couldn't sit back and watch myself slowly sink into degradation. I knew that I would never accumulate wealth in this misery and misery, and I was tired of feeling inactive and unchallenged. After a few years of job hopping, I finally came to know the question that changed my life.

"How do I provide more value to more people with less time?"
When you ask the question, "How can I provide more value to more people in less time?" , you are basically asking "How can I be a better choice for most people in the fastest way possible?"

Let's break the question down into 3 parts.
1, how do I provide more value?
This question is basically asking: How can I offer more to people? It will make you want to give your all to the people you are serving. The goal of this question is to focus on the quality of service you are presenting to others.

At the beginning of my career, I didn't like to give twice as much or provide what people needed. In fact, I used to laugh at the brilliant people and volunteers until, well, I became one of them myself. Eventually, by asking myself this question, I realised that I would only win if I provided people with the kind of service they would want in their own shoes.

I soon stopped taking shortcuts in my work and started providing people with the highest quality service I could, and my market value grew dramatically. Each month, my work went deeper and my impact grew. You can only enrich yourself by enriching others.

2, How do I reach more people?
Research shows that the average person is in direct or indirect contact with approximately 27 people every day. Whether you reach 27 people a day or not, you can always grow your numbers more or less by increasing the range of your contacts and the frequency of your contacts.

Range refers to the number of people who will cross paths with your work. Frequency refers to the number of times each person intersects with your work. For me, I wanted to distribute my value more widely by increasing both scope and frequency, which is the secret to accumulating my wealth.

With technology, you can extend your reach. Nowadays, it's easier than ever to develop relationships, but you can't compromise your value in the process. The key here is to plant more seeds. You can't plant these seeds on your own, but if you plant 1,000 seeds a day, you will always reap more than someone who plants only 10 seeds a day.
You can count the number of seeds in an apple, but you can't tell from a seed how many apples it will produce later.

3, How can I do it in less time?
Time is the most valuable asset and all of us want more of it. This question will increase your efficiency and can help you to be more productive. Not only do you have to provide better quality services to more people, you have to do it in as short a time as possible.

If there's one thing you must know, it's this: you're running out of time. I learnt this as early as when I was just 21 years old as an adult. Unfortunately, there are many others who continue to think they are still young and are still squandering their god-given years of youth. It's time to work faster and produce more in the limited time you have.

If you can double your social range, you will also double your income. Figure out how to offer your value to as many people as possible in as short a time as possible and you will become richer than you could ever imagine. The secret to living is to give. Give generously to as many people as you can as quickly as possible.
