As of June 2014, Apple has become the world's largest company by market value for three consecutive years. On August 19, 2020 local time, Apple's market value exceeded $2 trillion for the first time. This is not only the world's first market value of $3 trillion, but also equivalent to the GDP volume of the world's fifth largest economy, only second to the United States, China, Japan and Germany.

Origin of LOGO

One of the first generation of logos is that Apple Computer took the bite of Apple as its trademark to commemorate the great pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence, Alan Turing, who is actually a misinformation. Its source is Enigma, a British film in 2001, in which the aforementioned plot about the relationship between Turing's suicide and Apple's LOGO was fabricated, which was misinterpreted by some members of the public and the media.

The original LOGO was designed by Wayne, one of the three founders, in 1976. It was only used in the production of Apple-I, drawing for Newton's pen sitting under the apple tree reading books. In 1976, Jobs decided to entrust advertising design again, and cooperated with the release and use of Apple-2. This LOGO determined to use a rainbow color Apple image with a gap.

In 2001, the Apple logo became transparent, mainly for the purpose of matching the Mac OS X system that was first introduced to the market. This time, the core value of Apple's brand has changed from a computer to a computer system. The Apple logo has also followed the change of the system's interface style and adopted a transparent texture.

In 2007, it changed to silver gray with metal shadow again. When Apple launched the iPhone, it also officially changed its name from Apple Computer to Apple. The Apple logo uses a glass texture logo, which is designed to match the iPhone's innovative introduction of Multi touch touch screen technology and bring a new user experience.

In 2013, the logo was changed into a flat black logo with no bump, and has been used since.

It is widely said that Apple Computer Company took the bite of Apple as its trademark to commemorate Alan Turing, the great pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence. In fact, it is a misinformation. Its source is Enigma, a British film in 2001, in which the aforementioned plot about the relationship between Turing's suicide and Apple's logo was fabricated, which was misinterpreted by some members of the public and the media.

Early stage of the company

In 1971, 16 year old Steve Jobs and 21 year old Steve Wozniak (two Steve) met through the introduction of friends. In 1976, Jobs successfully persuaded Watts to assemble the machine and sell it. Another of their friends, Ron Wayne, joined him. The three formed Apple Computer on April 1, 1976.

Recent development

After the iBook G4 launched the Macintosh Portable, a laptop with less than ideal sales in 1989, a more popular laptop, PowerBook, was launched in the early 1990s. This is the first time to jointly design with Sony and set a modern appearance standard for today's popular laptops. In 1994, Apple updated its Macintosh product line and introduced the Power Mac series. It is based on the PowerPC series processors jointly developed by IBM, Motorola and Apple. This processor uses RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computing) architecture. It exceeds the Motorola 680x0 series used by the previous Mac, and is fundamentally different. Apple's system software has been adjusted to allow most programs written for older processors to run in analog mode on the PowerPC series.

In addition to computer products, Apple also makes consumer devices. In the 1990s, Apple published Newton, which created the term Personal Digital Assistance, the earliest PDA. The iPod digital music player launched in the early 2000s was a great success. Together with its exclusive iTunes network paid music download system, it defeated Sony's Walkman series to become the world's largest portable music player. The subsequent launch of several iPod series products further consolidated Apple's unshakable position in the commercial digital music market.

In 2006, Apple created the personal computer iMac, which enabled Apple to gain the largest market share since the company started its business. These products are loved by people because of their perfect design.

On October 15, 2008, Apple introduced the newly designed MacBook, MacBook Pro series notebook computers and the new Apple LED Cinema Display.

On January 27, 2010, Apple launched the iPad, a tablet computer product, which is positioned between iPhone and MacBook and uses a modified version of the iPhone OS operating system. The price starts at $499.

On March 2, 2011, Apple launched iPad 2, a tablet computer product, and Jobs did not disappoint everyone's expectations.
